Having both experienced homelessness and at-risk situations as children, their testimony explains their passion to serve and protect the children.
Michael & Rosetta Parker-Austin
Michael and Rosetta serve as the oversight for Warrior Watchman Prayer Center, a ministry dedicated to the homeless population, and Watchman House, Inc. Their mission is to protect the children and provide a S.A.F.E. (Shelter, Apparel, Food, and Environment = S.A.F.E.) services and a protective place for those who have been abused, homeless, molested, or in other crisis situations, in an ongoing atmosphere of hope and concern. Combined they hold several degrees in the following areas: Applied Science, Behavioral Science, Psychology, Social Work, and in Counseling Psychology.
They met in March 1994 while on a special assignment with the U.S. Army and married two years later. They have three adult children, one grandson, eight godsons, and six goddaughters. They both retired from the U.S. Army in 1999.
